As you can see, I had a bit of fun modifying my world some more. I added a background. It's from Doctor Who.
I was shocked but immensely pleased to learn that Speed Grapher started on IFC tonight. I had assumed they wouldn't play it until Witchblade was finished, but now they're playing back-to-back. Friday's just got extra sweet.
I love Speed Grapher, it's a great series. Everyone is flawed and screwed up in some way. This is the kind of anime I deem "hard core". It's set in a future where an economic crash left a wide gap between the poor and the ultra rich, and up in the ivory towers greed runs the show. Greed, lust, debauchery... high society indulges in all of it. The show makes no bones about anything, so I wouldn't recommend it to younger or sensitive viewers.
You know, one of these days I should write an essay on why people enjoy watching anime of more mature content, especially since Raina was asking me why such a nice guy like me watches shows like that. Something to think about...
And here is the final part of the Top Gear channel crossing challenege. Will Jeremy, Richard, and James actually make it to France? Or will they slowly descend into the cold deapths of hell?
