Requests: Denied!

I decided to rename my world. "TimeChaser's World" just seemed a bit too generic, so I went with "TimeChaser's Quantum Hub" instead: Quantum for the whole Time/Doctor Who thing, and Hub for the name of Torchwood HQ.

Moving my iTunes folder to the external hard drive was fun (SARCASM!). Of course it wiped everything from the player, so I had to spend time re-adding every CD. At least I could just get them from the new location instead of having to actually rip 250+ CDs all over again.

Now that all my important files are on the external drive, we'll do what the Geek Squad people suggested and download an update of Bios before reinstalling the new memory (computer's running on the old memory right now). Hopefully that's all we need to get it to cooperate with the new memory and not go haywire like before.

I wanted to request some music on Progulus tonight. Saturdays are 2fer requests, meaning when you select a song, the computer picks a random song by the same band, so you automatically double your request. It's a good opportunity to check out anything I've acquired new interest in. And late nights mean fewer listeners, which means you can request more songs in a row. I managed to get three back to back requests, doubling it to 6 songs. Unfortunately I hadn't realized that Live 365 was doing server maintenance at the time, so I wasn't able to listen to a single song. Not the end of the world, but really bloody aggrivating.

When it comes to loading avatars, Version Vibrant is being contradictory. It won't accept any in PNG format, even though we can supposedly load them now. And by contradictory, I mean I try to load an avatar in PNG, and I get an error that tells me I can only load ones in GIF, JPG, or PNG format. Um... And it isn't a size issue, because everything I use is 100x100.

I'm trying to do some writing. If anyone would like to volunteer as a beta (editor), I would be more than happy. I've betad before, and I hope my own self-editing will be good, but I won't let hubris prevent me from seeking one or two outside opinions.
