Battle Style: He rarely fights, but his main weapons are a Saber and a whip made of vines. He ties the enemy with the whip then slashes him with the sword. Occasionally he is capable of using elemental attacks, depending on what is surrounding him. when he gets really angry, he is capable of using powerful moves such as Outrage.
He is also good at healing, and during hard fights he can heal his allies with the help of Synthesis. When he’s in a fight, he never takes the opponents seriously, unless they’re very powerful. In that case, he sends in his loyal knight Franz to fight for him.

Background: (this is kinda rushed, so forgive me if it's not written good XD)
Ishida started is life adventure in Nuvema town, when he was still a snivy.
After traveling alone for half the region, he ended up in the Mistralton Cave, where he met his first future companion, Franz the Cobalion. After a long fight, lost by Ishida, Franz decided to travel with him, impressed by his stubbornness and decision. They kept traveling the region, and with time, they grew so close that Franz started considering Ishida as his leader, and acted like a bodyguard for him.
at one point, they started hearing about a person who knew almost everything, that lived at the top of the Celestial Tower, guarding the Dead. They went there, and met Chandler the Chandlure, who already knew of their arrival even before they got there, and joined the team without letting anyone decide differently.
Having a larger group made travelling a bit harder, but no one could stop Ishida and his stubbornness, not even the Twist Mountain, that they walked through during the hardest winter ever. After days of complaints from the one who decided to pass through anyway (Ishida), they finally reached the Tubeline Bridge, where a band of thugs was waiting for any careless traveler. Their boss was a Rufflet gijinka, named Adler, who challenged them to a fight. Franz fought for the group, and won in so little time that even Adler himself was amazed, and asked to join them (much to the dismay of the thugs, who were losing a boss again). After hearing pleads from him night and day, Ishida agreed, with lots of complaints from Franz, who after the journey through Mount Twist and the fight started hating Adler a lot.
With lot of patience they finally reached the Giant Chasm, where they were hoping to meet Kyurem. Instead of it, they met Seth, and Absol who was sick and tired of being called a “harbinger of death”, and wanted to leave the place forever. He later joined the team, that left soon for the ultimate challenge: Victory Road. Right in the middle of it, they had the chance to see a furious fight between two Haxorus gijinkas, who were fighting viciously for their territory. One of them was already defeated, but the other kept hurting him, and cut repeatedly the right side of his face. Seth then run into the fight himself, fending the attacker back, with the menace of the “Absol’s curse” (which he obviously made up). With Ishida’s help, Zkresleni, the wounded Haxorus nursed back to health, remaining blind from one eye. He joined the team too, mainly because of the debt he owed them, and also because he had lost his land.
The whole team settled down in Nimbasa City, where they opened a restaurant, in which all gijinkas were welcome.
They are now split up for a while, as Ishida got bored of the restaurant and decided to resume his adventures in the new Region of Kalos.
