Hey, Die Before I Wake here. I made this world, The War on Cruelty, for people who love animals and are sick of the abuse, neglect, fighting, etc. of innocent animals. Cruelty is not limited to the beating, starving, etc. of domestic animals. It also extends to the capture, harming, and murder of wild species, too, as well as destroying the only homes they've known.

Here, I will post my own, and club members' stories, drawings, poems, videos, slideshows, images, essays, songs, etc. pertaining to any way of animal mistreatment. I will also put up updates of specials on National Geographic, Animal Planet, etc., in case anyone's interested. I'll also soon have links and buttons up to sites where you can donate to help our furry, scaly, skin-covered, and feathered friends and their homes by either sponsoring, or by buying stuff from their shops.

I'll frequently be changing layouts, updating, and adding members, so message me if you want to join to submit things, or simply look for something good to watch on TV. Or, even to find inspiring videos, poems, etc. that you may wish to repost onto your own world!

Things you as members can do:
1. Submit a story.
2. Enter contests when I'm not too lazy to have them. XP
3. Submit a photo of your pet. Send me a lovely link to a photo hosting place and I'll put it up.
4. Submit art, poems, songs, videos. Once again, PM them to me, or email them to me. The club email address is below the "lovely" banners.
5. Uhh..... Use the banners to advertise?

Banners and Buttons
Choose the URL of the type of banner/button you want. Click the preview link next to it to see it before you decide. Then, copy and paste the code into wordpad, notepad, or any other word document, take the spaces out from in between the brackets, and then copy and paste the image URL where it says to. Then, paste the completed code into your WORLD or other page.

If you're interested in submitting something, you can message one of the 3 posters for the world: Hyper Vampp Boi, XSexAndCandyX, or Die Before I Wake. If it's an article, news story, etc., it will be researched. If it is found to be false, like the Bansai Kitty site, it won't be posted, but if it's true, it will.

Questions

I have a few questons for you as members:

1. Should we have "club profiles"? Like, a post all about a user who filled out a form that includes a picture othem and/or their pets that we link to next to their username?

2. Is the banner coding thing to complicated? If so, how can I redo it?

3. What should the first contest be?

4. Any other reccommendations?

5. Does this club suck, or is it just me? :[

New Banner and Buttons

I made one new banner, and two new buttons today:

Ehh.... I was bored.... I got the images from Glitter Graphics. Hope you like and use them.

Anti-Dogfighting "Commercial"

This video shows the only reason the dogs cooperate and fight for their "masters". They don't know that what they're doing is wrong. Their "masters" are their whole world, and, like all other dogs, they just want to make them happy. So, "Ban the deed, not the breed".

New Section in Intro

Up in the intro, I've added a new section of Cruelty-Free stuff. This section includes (so far):

- A link to the list of companies that don't test on animals. I'm proud to say that I use only Avon make-up, and only use soaps, hand sanitizer, etc. from Bath and Body Works.

- A list of vegan and vegetarian foods that may make shopping a lot easier for strict vegans and vegetarians.

New Section

There's a new section up in the introduction to the site advertising where you can buy anti-cruelty stuff. I only have three online stores up right now, but if you have any, please, give me the link and I'll be sure to add it.

Now, since I know everyone heard of PETA and the ASPCA, I want to bring special attention to the third link, The Animal Rescue Site. This site, not only does the money go towards animals, but everytime you buy an item, you donate an amount of bowls of food to helpless animals. There's even a link that every time you click it, (it's the big purple button), you donate .6 bowls of food to rescued animals. I know it doesn't seem like much, but that site has a lot of traffic, and I click it every day.

So, well, buy stuff, damn you! I kid, I kid, but seriously, check out the sites.
