Planning for stories and stuff.
Word, dawg.

note: this intro hasn't been thoroughly updated in a couple years

This is a world I made mostly for my own use, but I made it a public world anyways. I'll be posting things about story outlines, my characters, my comics (including fan comics), WIPs, ect... It's pretty much a world where I can store information and/or plan things. xD

Below are short descriptions of my stories to help you know what's going on. xD It also shows which characters are in which story, along with their extended profile if I have one made. Some stories aren't mentioned because I don't work on/think about them often. Therefore, not all of my characters are mentioned.

Clarification: What is "Dreams"?

I know a question like this is bound to come at some point, since I'm posting the dialouge for my eventually-to-be comic Dreams... the question being "What is Dreams?"
Because of its name, people are beginning to assume that Dreams is... well... a dream. xD But actually, it isn't.
Dreams is not a dream. Dreams is a single proper noun and is the name of a town, the same way London is a proper noun. So the proper way to refer to Dreams is to capitalize the "d" and not call it dream or a dream.

The town of Dreams is a place located off of the "real world", and is a town where people who aren't pleased with the current way they're living go to.
The founder of Dreams is Luli, a small girl who doesn't seem to age. It is unknown where Luli came from and how she "created" Dreams, making her background kinda mysterious. xD

The first resident of Dreams was Ms. Marigold. (I'll go more in debth about Ms. Marigold's background later...) Luli came to her, and asked her if she wanted to leave the world she was in. Ms. Marigold agreed, and Luli took her to Dreams. Ms. Marigold was actually the one who "named" Dreams, saying "This place is a unification of my dreams" when she first saw the town.

Since then, Luli has been accepting residents to Dreams. All of the residents are people who don't like living in the "real world", with the exception of some... certain... things. (I'll talk about that later.)

Dreams has 26 hours in a day, which explains the 13-number pocketwatch. This suggests that Dreams is located between time. I can't exactly explain what that means, except that Dreams is not located in the universe.

Uh... I think that's all to say.
Dreams is a very difficult topic to describe, but pretty much all you have to know about it is that Dreams is the setting for most of the comic.

Dreams: Chapter 1 dialogue (part 2)

(click for part 1)

**Okay, I'm having SERIOUS issues coming up with good dialouge for this part, so if you have any suggestions, PLEASE TELL ME.**

<Scenery changes to Alcott's room. He's writing in a diary (?!?)>

Diary: <Read in Alcott's voice> Why doesn't anyone listen to me? All I want is something to do. Don't they realize how boring my life is? They're all selfish fools who neglect to notice anything I want. No one cares at all about my feelings. My mother thinks she understands, but... <writing stops>

Alcott: ...but she's not the one living this life. <grips pen> Rrgh... I hate this!! <swipes (?) at table, making all the books and pens fall off the table> All I want is to get out of this blasted house! <throws (?) himself onto his bed> I hate it! I hate it... <hides face in pillow>

<Shows Alcott's diary on the floor, and he turns to look at it>

Alcott: <He picks up the book, holds it for a minute, then kneels on the ground, looking at it, and puts the diary on the desk> Hahh... It's all their fault... It's always their fault. I hate them. They're the ones ruining my life... <Walks over to window, thinking> Someday, I'm going to leave these people behind. <Expression softens, and begins talking> Sigh... Oh how I wish I could leave... <looks at moon> ...To somewhere far away.

???: <Heard in Alcott's mind> You wish to leave?

Alcott:
!! What-- is.. Is someone there?! <Leans out window, but sees no one> ... <Slowly walks to bed, and lays down> How very strange... <eyes close, thinking> very strange... <Falls asleep>

<Scene ends with him sleeping
The next page opens up with the sun shining, to show it's morning>

Alcott: <Starts to wake up> Mmm... <Gets up groggily (??) and walks over to mirror> Oh... I fell asleep in my day clothes... <Stares at mirror> Hm.<Opens door from his bedroom, and a servant is (conveniently xD) walking by> You! Get my clothes ready. I'm going to town today.

Servant: ? Of course, young master...

<In the next panel, Alcott's dressed>

Mrs. S: Alcott?

Alcott: ? What is it, Mother? <somewhat annoyed>

Mrs. S: Are you going somewhere...?

Alcott: Evidently, I am. I'm going to town for a walk. ((WEIRD. uugh. xD;;))

Mrs. S: Dear, your literature instructor is going to be here at 1:00... you shouldn't--

Alcott: Tell him I'm away. Goodbye, Mother.

Mrs. S: ... <worried face>

Alcott: <Walking out door>

Servant: <Walks past Alcott, and bumps into him slightly> Ah. Excuse me, young master. <Continues on his way>

Alcott: <Walks outside, and notices a pocket watch on the ground about 5 feet from him> ? What's this...? <Walks over to it and picks it up (pocketwatch is face-down)> Oh... it's a pocket watch. <Runs fingers over the top of it> It must belong to that man who walked by. Hm... <turns it over to the front of the pocket watch. The front has the word Dreams written on it.> Dreams...? <Opens pocket watch>

Pocket Watch: <The pocket watch's dialouge is written on the inside "cover" of the pocket watch> Would you like to leave this world of yours?

Alcott: <reading> Wha...

Pock. W: Would you, perhaps, like to venture to the quaint little town of Dreams? Hurry along, the train leaves promptly at 13:00. I'll be sure that you enjoy your stay. ~Luli, Master of Dreams

Alcott:
Luli, master of... Dreams? The train leaves at 13:00...? <Looks at clock on the watch>

Pock. W:
<The clock has 13 numbers instead of 12. It's 12:59, 7 seconds til 13:00>

Alcott: !! What is...

Pock. W: < 3 seconds... 2 seconds... 1 second... 13:00>

<The pocket watch begins to glow. A beam of light comes out of it and shines on Alcott. A sharp noise is made, and Alcott passes out.
Alcott wakes up later in a white area with nothing around it. (No sky, no buildings, ect...)>

Alcott: <wakes up, confused> Where... what is this place? <looks around, but is still sitting on the ground> Hello? Is anyone there?

???: <from behind> Welcome to Dreams.

Alcott: <turns around, and standing behind him are Luli and Ms. Marigold>

-End Chapter 1-

**Yeah, it's a pretty short chapter. Think of it as an introductory chapter. ;D Also, it'll be better in comic form. xD; And once again, if you have any suggestions on how to make the dialouge better, please comment and tell me. :)**

Dreams: Chapter 1 dialogue (part 1)

*Posting this in case I lose the journal I wrote this in... sorry it's so long*
**Contains spoilers for my comic (obviously)**

Summary: Rich boy Alcott is currently not pleased with how he's living, despite its lavish surface. He then recieves a pocketwatch that teleports him to the world of Dreams.
Characters: Alcott Stophcres, Luli, Ms. Marigold, Mrs. Stophcres, Mr. Stophcres, Servants <Goes into character debth about Alcott. Luli and Ms. Marigold have very brief dialouge.>
Setting: Victorian Era, a time of peace in Britain. (Late 1800s) Located specifically at the Stophcres Manor. (England)
Things to do (personal use): Sketch Stophcres Manor, Decide on Alcott's clothing (two outfits), Finalize Ms. Marigold, Design Mr. and Mrs. Stophcres

Estimated Page Number: 15-25 pages
-----------------------
Narrator: The Victorian Era-- A time of peace and prosperity in Great Britain, under the rule of Queen Victoria. <A picture of the Stophcres Manor is shown> This is Stophcres Manor. It is the home of Mr. Stophcres, a wealthy [occupation. I haven't thought of one yet]... His wife, Mrs. Stophcres... and their only son, Alcott Stophcres.

Alcott: <bored> Sigh... <points to a servant (?)> You there! What is the hour?

Servant: <Pulls out a pocketwatch> It is 8:10, Young Master.

Alcott: <nods> Bring me to Mother. ((doesn't mean carry. xD)) I wish to speak to her about today's schedule.

Servant: Right away, Young Master.

<scenery changes to Mrs. Stophcres's room. Mrs. Stophcres is sitting on her bed, reading a book (maybe).>

Servant: Mistress, your son has come to see you.

Mrs. Stophcres:
Alcott is here? Oh... yes, come in son. <to servant> You are excused, Charles ((that's the servant's name)). Thank you.

Servant:
Yes, mistress. <closes door behind him>

Mrs. S: Come Alcott, sit next to me. <moves over slightly> What do you want?

Alcott: I was just curious about... what you have planned for me to do today.

Mrs. S: Today... Today you have piano lessons from 9 to 10. At 11 to 1, you have penmanship and calligraphy classes. And your private tutor will be coming for evening classes.

Alcott: .. <thinking> It's the same nonsense I do every day... <to Mrs. S> Very well. I will prepare for my lessons then. <Exits through door, and says something about getting the piano tuned to a servant>

Narrator: Alcott, as you have seen, has a set schedule for every day. The schedule usually consists of music teachers and privat tutors. Scarce does he ever leave the manor. Days like his seem to repeat themselves.. and can get quite tedious for a boy his age.

<scenery changes to music room, after the lessons. Alcott is playing over the music. As the teacher begins to leave, Mrs. Stophcres stops to talk to him>

Mrs. S: Oh... please wait, [music teacher's name ((I haven't thought of it yet))].

Music Teacher: Yes, Mrs. Stophcres?

Mrs. S:
How is the boy... Alcott... Is he playing well?

Music T: He's doing very well, Ma'am, but he is lacking in patience and feeling to play truely beautiful music. <sighs> Now if you would please excuse me, I'll be on my way... <begins to leave> He's a brilliant musician, Ma'am... if not for his peevish attitude. <He leaves, and Mrs. S has a worried look on her face>

<Camera (?) switches back to where Alcott is>

Alcott: <Playing piano> This music... it's so boring. There must be something else to do... <Gets up from piano, and takes his music to his room>

<Scenery changes to the dining room. It is now nighttime. ((There will be a panel showing that it's nighttime))>

Servant: <Putting plates on table> The chefs have prepared a fine cuisine for a pleasant spring evening as this one, as well as a full-bodied wine from the wine cellar to compliment your meal. <pours wine as well> And for you, young master.. <Puts Alcott's plate on the table>

Alcott: ...

Mr. Stophcres: Well, isn't this nice. <picks up his for and knife, and begins to eat> Alcott, how was your day?

Alcott: <Irritated> How do you think it was? It's not as if I did something different from yesterday.

Mrs. S: ...A-alcott... your tutor is coming after dinner--

Alcott: Yes, Mother. I know.

Mrs. S: Then please try to finish your dinner quickly, so you have time to prepare for class...

Alcott: <Heard in his mind, words his mother and his tutors have been saying> "Alcott, be prepared..." "You have lessons today." "Your schedule today is..." "Today you are learning about..." <Thinking> It's the same thing. It's the same routine every day...

Mrs. S: Alcott...?

Alcott: I'm not doing them today.

Mr. S: Excuse me?

Alcott: I'm not doing them. I'm not doing my classes today. <begins to get up from table>

Mrs. S: Alcott, please try to be reasonable--

Alcott: No! <stands up> How can you not understand, Mother?! Day after day, it's the same routine! I feel like a mad man going in circles!

Mrs. S: Dear, we just want--

Alcott: <yelling> What about what I want? Do you even care about what I want?!

Mrs. S: Alcott... Of course I do...

Alcott:
...
I'm going to my room. I shall not be attending my evening classes today. Goodnight, Mother, Father.

Mrs. S: Alco--

Alcott: Goodnight!! <Alcott leaves, slamming the door behind him>

Mrs. S: [Mr. Stophcres's name ((I haven't thought of it yet, either. xD;))], I worry about him. I should have... He gets so worked up about the smallest things...

Mr. S: You shouldn't worry, Dear. He's only being stubborn. <The last sentance is heard in Alcott's point of view, he's listening to the conversation from outside the doors. ((It'll make sense when I draw it. xD))>

-Will continue later-
