...Speaking of which, do you know what you get when you try to put three different scenes in 17-page chapter which has on average three drawing shots per page? You get Bleach chapter 597.
Not a bad chapter if you read it together with the other ones, but on itself it is pretty confusing and slightly disappointing.
While it is a grand shot, these cannon fodders and that impressive looking captain took away two pages.
So I saw,this is probably the 10th Kenpachi that was the captain of 11th squad before Zaraki. As you probably can see,this could can remind you on Yami. I don't know,he is kinda similar to him.xD
But apart from that,it is said that he was quite lazy,never coming to meetings(you can also see that in the 110 years past small arc,where all captains come,but not he). And he never did any work that Yama jii gave him.
So he was much different than Zaraki,in a negative way. He was also very strong,but much weaker than Zaraki because he was defeated in just one strike.^^
I don't know what Maki Ichinose saw in him.xD
