Trip and Manga..
Alright first off, I found this neat site with some awesome tutorials for drawing manga/anime. You can find the tutorials below. There's lots of other stuff on the site too.
Second, I'm going on a trip to Tahoe tomorrow and I won't be back until late Monday. I plan to bring a sketch pad so maybe I'll come up with something worth publishing.
And another thing, I can't draw anime hair very well. I love to draw eyes though. Anyone know of a good tutorial for hair? Oh and I am now able to talk in the chatroom on theO, so I look forward to that.

New! Denied?
I am thoroughly frustrated right now. My new wallpaper, and possibly my best, has been denied. I can't find any reason for it really. It's got a blood splat on it, but I've seen that AND worse on other peoples' art. At first I thought it was a technical glitch..but I resubmitted it and it still didn't accept it. Does anyone know why? You should be able see it below, unless TheO is really in-depth about censoring me..
Samurai Champloo thoughts.. [Spoilers]
It's three in the morning and I just finished Samurai Champloo. I'm not sure if which I liked more: SC or Cowboy Bebop. Both are really really amazing. I fell in love with every aspect. I know Watanabe hasn't really done any more series, but if anyone knows of a good series in the likeness of Watanabe's work on CB or SC, please let me know.
Quick thoughts about Samurai Champloo.
- The Samurai Champloo ending was really depressing, more so than cowboy bebop, even though none of the main trio died.
- Jin and Mugen cheated death so many times. Mugen probably should of died..oh say..at least five times throughout the series.
- It was hard to tell which of the main guys Fuu was attracted to. A lot of the time she leans towards Jin and she says something in the third to last episode, as well as in the 'last time on SC' scene in the penultimate episode, that makes it seem like Jin, but I didn't quite get it exactly (PM or comment if you know please).
- It kinda irked me that at the very very end they each go a different direction at the crossroads. I know this is in the SC spirit, but it's like..Jin just professed to Mugen about how "you and Fuu are my first friends," and "I've finally found what I've been searching for." Ya know?
In other news, I have a big collection of Samurai Champloo commercial bumpers (basically wallpapers that say 'Samurai Champloo' on them) and I want to sorta take those and tweak them as well as use them as inspiration for my own scratch work. Also I want to try a few new effects, like paint and blood splat, as well as graffiti stuff and more.

Oh and another thing...
In about a week I'll be able to access the community chat, which should be totally sweetness.
I noticed that if you haven't fulfilled the thirty day stay, it gives you a random error and after some refreshing I got it to say:
"Hey, Amigos! There's A 50,000 Woolong Bounty For This Page. Good Luck!"
Naturally, I enjoyed this..probably too much. Also, a rough estimate of the currency exchange for Woolongs to US Dollars is about ten cents to the dollar...so that 50,000 would be 5000 dollars. Just a fun fact.
