Past: Her parents traveled a lot for their business, and since Kana-sama wouldn't let the zodiac go outside she had to stay behind. During one of their trips, there was a bad storm and they died in the plane crash. That's when Umami's parents took Alice in and raised her, until the day they left. That's when Umami took care of her.
