Philosophy Quote 
This is seriously a quote! It comes from Epictetus' "Encheiridion." When I found it, I just HAD to make it into an e-card. ^_^
Here's the bare minumum on Epictetus' background:
- lived between c.50 and c.130 in ancient Rome (if the name doesn't already scream that)
- was a slave in is younger years
- after getting out of that, he became a philosopher whose motto was "Bear and Forebear"
- preached Stoitism (which is basically a Western version of Buddhism)
(Can you guess what exam I have today? ^_^)
