Today is January 25, the birthday of legendary Mangaka Leiji Matsumoto (of course he's still alive though, and today, he's age 71). He's the guy who created various Manga/Anime greats (including "Captain Harlock", "Great Yamato No. 0", "Galaxy Expres 999", "Galaxy Railways", "Queen Millenia", and "Interstella 555") and served as a character/mechanical designer and art director of Yoshinobu Nishizaki's legendary Sci-Fi Anime classic "Space Battleship Yamato" (known in North America as "Star Blazers").
