The characteristic I wanted to portray was worry. It's kind of hidden in the words. I always wondered what Kaname would say if Yuuki was in danger or worried about something. I wanted to show the sort of worry Kaname has over loosing someone. That even though he would say something comforting like the lines above, he still worries about those he cares about, no matter how cool and collected he seems. Cool and collected Kaname is what most people see, but I think he has his doubts and worries that he doesn't share or want others to know about. Well, before I start rambling on....
