As we all know, Japan is facing it's worst disaster yet. Not only have they faced tsunamis, earthquakes and exploding reactors, but they've also lost homes, businesses and most importantly: lives.
This is the longest I've ever spent working on a card, as I felt that this should be... Special, as the japanese have done so much for all of us, and it truly saddens me to hear of their situation. They've always been there to help other countries in their worst moments (such as helping out in Christchurch), and I hope that the rest of the world will act the same, and do their best to restore Japan to its former glory. I chose the red-crowned crane for the image as it symbolizes Japan as a whole.
We otaku owe Japan so much - without them, we wouldn't even be otaku. Now's the time to repay them, when they need it the most. I urge those that can to donate to Japan - a noble cause. Even if it's a small amount, it does add up. More Info
