This is my entry for HelloKatty's challenge Create a CD Cover - Songs of Myself. It's one of the most original challenges I've ever seen, so it's definitely worth checking out. ^^

My philosophy on life is that "Every day belongs to you", as shown by the title on the card. Sometimes life isn't easy, and sometimes it's so good that time just flies by, but regardless of how things are going, every single day belongs to you. Basically, you can make the best of every day, no matter what.

I have to say I really enjoyed this challenge. Maybe I can fit this assignment somewhere in my Modern Literature class this fall. ^_^

The scan came from the Doujinshi Stationery Collection 1 Artbook, although I found the scan online at this page of Aethereality.net's gallery. I also used this Photoshop action, which required me to use the nice copy of Photoshop 7 that I've never used for some reason. The pink starburst brush came from Creepydolly.com, and the swirly star border came from AnimeShare. The lens flare that Yuna's holding was an effect in Photoshop Elements 2.0, which I still use all the time for some reason. <_<; Suffice to say I spent all day a long time working on this card.
