Review:
Ergo Proxy is for me one of the best anime ever made. The chara design is flawless and very unique, the main character, Re-L, is the best example of that wonderful design. Ergo Proxy is a very mysterious anime, the atmosphere will remind some of you of the movie Ghost in the Shell and I can't but agree. It's a very peculiar sci-fi anime where all characters evolve, they never stay the same stereotypes from A to Z. As the plot move on, they move on too. They discover themselves while we are discovering them.
I like to notice also some resemblances with Satoshi Kon's works, the way you can fall into a universe you doesn't know or understand, that obviously wasn't here 2 minutes ago, without wanting to stop watching. You are just totally drowned in it and, at the end, you finally breathe again.
Besides, yeah, you want Re-L and Vincent to end up together. You can see those so shojo moments when the heroes are alone together, hoping that they will, I don't know, do something making your heart beat faster, a kiss maybe? ;__;
