The Little Mermaid is one of my all time favorite Disney movies. Why do I love Ariel so much? Mainly because she was ready to give up everything for something she loved. Her dream was to get out and be on land. So, she followed her dreams and was willing to let her family and friends go to do just that. I also love her friends because they were willing to do anything to help her. She didn't just sit around and dream of her dreams. She went out and did something to get it.
Sure, she may not have defeated Ursula on her own, but she didn't back down. She did all she could. She wasn't just some damsel in distress waiting for her prince to come. She went and found him.
