It's sort of an anniversary for me.

That's not germane to the Challenge at all. Here it is:

Lately, I've been fascinated with how animals and aliens and otherworldly creatures come to life in media. Not just anime and manga, but all types of entertainment.
I've never been really good at drawing stuff like that, so I challenge you to do it.

Rules:

Draw an animal/alien/mythical creature of your choice or creation.

Can be realistic, hybrid, anthropomorphic, anything in-between and etc. If you can find a way to tie it back to something that's not humanoid, it should be okay.

Can be an existing character or OC
Can be sketch/full
Can be color/b&w
Can have backgrounds, but not required.
