Glad you like it. Double Paint Layer is came from early 1900's skill of drawing. 1900 the photograph became famous and artists were looking for something different and unique way of art... So they take a photo and over the photo, they paint over.

Our days, that's nothing special. You can edit photo on the PC... But instead of using the photo, I use my drawing as main and using PS (PhotoShop), lighten the shades and colors to brighten up the picture. Instead of using color pencil or pen, I use Crayon Pencil to draw. Little tricky part is can't use pencil to rough draw your sketch, so you gotta do free hand or use Light Table to see the outline.
