There is only one thing that would help improve this: you should use different tones on the arms as well, it'd really make her pop out from the background. :) Just my personal opinion; but otherwise---this is perfect. And for a first time, excellent. :)
Your progress is doing wonderfully! I'm loving the colors and the color also seems to bring out the perspective better as well. Very niiiice!!! >_< Can't wait to see Kairi finished!
