I like the idea as well. I especiallu like the colouring in her eyes, how it shimmers in so many colours. Though I think the dark blue looks a little ought here as it is too obvious/dark compared to the other softer colours.
Furthermore, it seems like you've improved with colouring the hair. The shading and highlighting looks nice. I like how you've made a sort of ++ in the highlighting in her hair, if you know what I mean. ^^

Yeah, i think i've been improving with my highlights and shadows latly, but i still have a bit of work to do
