I don't think it's too bright, at least not on my new laptop screen XD I know what you mean tho, my old laptop was darker than most other people's, when I look back at my old digital art it's like "woah, I don't remember having the pic this yellow and bright XD"
And I'm sorry for not making you a bday present, I'll try to get at least a sketch or something ;//w//;
