Ah, the pen tool >.< The joys of having it must be incredible beyond belief...I have to use the more time-consuming Photoshop Elements xDD Well thank you for letting me in on that secret nonetheless! *winks* ^^ You do fantastically with it! =P *huggles*

Oh, I use this fabulous tool called Pen Tool. 8D
Once I make a path with it in the shape of a strand of hair, I use the Fill option and voila'! Rinse and Repeat and you have shaded hair xD
(Sorry if it's kinda complicated~ >w<)

My goodness Den-chan this is soo lovely and a unique idea!!<333 I LOVE how you did the coloring of the hair..you've gotta teach me how you get the shades so crisp and neat >.< Whenever I use the lasso tool with my tablet, the shapes always come out wiggly and ugly xD
Anyway~ I ADORE the coloring..it's getting more clean and more professional! I see you went with more basic tones one some parts..and I think it's kind of nice you did that to balance out the pic a little bit with the details in the hair ^^ I love how you did the little heart and made it glow! Black Rock Shooter looks fantastic<333
