heeheehee, it's funny cause my basement is dark and leaky and reminds me of a dungeon plus it's creepy and the lights don't work to well, which it another reason why i hate going down there and since there is no room upstairs, i have everything down there!
yes my camera does capture the details better then the scanner, sometimes my scanner kills my colors and i have to fix it in photoshop which is a pain sometimes since my comupter likes acting up! >:O
i like the way you color cause it looks sketchy and it looks wonderful, and i would love to do something like that! plus there is something about your coloring that looks really nice and for some reason i can't get the same effects! i think it might the markers you use cause it looks like they blend nicely while i use regular cryola markers and it takes me a a while to blend them nicely....
I like the way some of your pics look taken with a camera! Maybe it's the angle or just your camera but they sometimes seem like they have more color. You know how sometimes the scanner just doesn't pick up all the colors you put in a piece of work? -_-

There's nothing really special in the way I color, usually one base level of color with slightly darker like colors for shadows. I have been trying to use this baby bluish marker for skin shadows though. You're coloring is really pretty though! All vibrant and shiny!
i like scanning some sketched too, but i'm to much of a bum to go to my basement and turn on evrything just to scan, that's why i started using my camera to take pitures of them, but if i really like the sketch i head to my basement! XD

I'm with you tami kun! Sometimes I look at one of my inked drawings and think,
"*sigh...you looked better in pencil" And then there's the risk of the ink smudging or bleeding. I always try and scan drawings while they're still in pencil just in case.

lol sometimes i have some sketches i really like but once i start inking them sometimes i screw up and then get mad about and think to myself: "why did i screw up?!!! i should of made a copy!!! )
that's how i end up loosing some of my drawing in the end! XD
