Ah sorry!! I should explain... You know in your sketch requests that you did with marker? Like this Kaji one? I like how you leave the paper, especially on the hair and clothing highlights! I always end up doing too much ink and messing it up xD

Eeee I love skies too! But I don't do too many... I'm gonna upload a picture of Kaji on a bike soon, and I did a sky there. I tried to record the steps for the clouds but I didn't really know what I was doing? xD So I'll do a tutorial separately!

Yeah! Thats what I mean^^ Sometime I do that if I want the top colour to turn out lighter. And it wets the paper first so the colours can blend more easily? I need to experiment more too xD

I will try water, but I might have to use different paper for it, cause you have a point about ripping the paper.

for that last part, do you mean I can try using the CB before using the blue as a base color? that sounds interesting, I've never tried that before?

Yeah if you have any types of lighter blues, it works better. But I'll see if I can do clouds with darker colours as well! Its gonna be fun cuz I can experiment and learn more too^^ Thanks Toya!!

Thanks so much, Toya!! Haha yeah I was thinking of shutting up and not telling you my secret so that you wouldn't try drawing with your sore hand xD jkjkjk! I'm so glad you like it! I actually just took my lightest blue colour and my Cb and I sort of shade one spot and then leave a blank spot and shading above that by working in a circular motion. So it kinda looks like clouds? Then I go over it with the CB and add a bit of darker blue between the clouds (not too dark though). If you try it, just make sure you leave enough white from the paper to act as the cloud highlights, and the dark should go at the bottom of the clouds (I sorta didn't do that here though). And the CB blends stuff together to soften it! ^_^
Hey I could even make a little tutorial for clouds sometime, I like to draw them but it was so hard for me at first!

WE JUST PICKED BOTH MOVIES UP AT THE LIBRARY!! @_@ Man I can't wait to watch!! I can't believe it, cuz it was a total coincidence. I've had My Neighbor Totoro on hold for a LONG time since everyone else wanted it. Then just last week I put the Grave of the Fireflies on hold (its not as popular so it came in fast) And both movies come in at the exact same time for me!
My siblings wanted to watch Totoro right away, but I'm getting everyone to watch the Fireflies first... Better to cry and then laugh right? I'll let you know when I see them!

I agree; better to watch Totoro second. I've never seen Fireflies but I know it's really sad... which is why I'm probably never going to see it ._. (<-- doesn't really like crying during movies)

But Jen, this is a cute picture ^_^ I like how bright the colors are on the right side. I've never seen Kiki's Delivery Service, mostly only because she's a witch. Understandably, that's what kept me from seeing the movie when I was younger, but now? Not sure... I just know Citrus doesn't want to see it.
