I know how that feels too, by now there is stuff I should of accomplished, but due to stuff, I haven't and it's causing issues, we just need to find a way to get over it.

Someone told me about it, because I don't visit things like forums. And it's not much different from comment on someone's art or journal, really. I think the scariest part of it is if you get accepted. I'm used to losing and being ignored, but if I actually get the position, I'd be all, "Uh buh huh, whut...? =O_O="

Yes, if you go to the forums link, there's a section called "Employment Opportunities" and there's the "Job Offers" area where people post their position and people try to apply for it. Then there's the, "Job Services" area where people post what they can do for others and people just commission them there. If you ever want some art-related pocket change, could be worth looking at =P

It was, it was on deviantArt. they have a "Job Offers" forum on there. That's not the only one I applied for. I didn't really want it all that much, anyway. But I dislike people treating me like a kid. I don't know how old this person is, but if they're younger than me, it really ticks me off >=I I'm not worrying myself over them right now, anyway XP

If it's something like that then yes it gets a bit intimidating, and I agree with you, they should of said it the other way instead of saying you'll get there, it does sound wrong.
I also know how you feel, when I had my first art critique by a college professor, they said some stuff that was pretty depressing to me that it took me a while to recover from it.
Don't feel like that though, that's just one person's opinion, there are more out there that could give you a shot.

No, it was someone I was contacting for a business opportunity, so they have every right to reject me if I'm not what they're looking for. However, I would've preferred that said "You don't have the style I'm looking for" rather than "Keep drawing, you'll get there someday..." That not only makes it sound like they think I'm a child, but it reminds me of the fact that, yeah, I'm not quite as good as other artists out there. I KNOW I'm not that great, but still... urgh. It could've been worse, tho... But urgh... I think I could deal with trolls, but someone legitimately saying it like that just seems worse for some reason...

hm sounded like a troll for a moment... but they shouldn't say anything, cause it's your art style, you can draw however you want. They have to choose their words carefully or else it would be misunderstood! Oh but don't feel like that! I think your art style is just fine!

D'aww, thanks =3 It's nice to hear these things every once in a while =) Even though they weren't trying to be mean, someone was kinda condescending about my style, yesterday... I don't know how well they can draw, but I'm sure I could do it better if they're trying to hire an artist... I'm not going to bother looking, though... *sigh* I just hate being looked down on, even though they were trying to be encouraging, just came out all wrong... =/
