i should write a detailed tutorial post!! the glow itself is easy but the mental gymnastics of where the light falls are what's hard ;3;
basically after choosing your light color, you make a halo of progressively lighter values with the airbrush, with white at the center, the darkest color on the edges. i put the orb on its own layer, and then added some cast light onto the arm. putting it on a separate layer makes it so you can carefully erase the parts where the light would be obscured by the fingers.

Nice work! How do you get the glowy effect? I never could figure that trick out.
