I don't think this is the final version, but I don't know when I'll get around to fixing it up, and I'm impatient, so here goes.
As I was reading the last few chapters of Death Note, Light began to remind me more and more of the main character in "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde. If you haven't heard of it, it's about a young man who has a portrait of himself. Every time he commits an evil deed, the evidence of his sinfulness is shown on the portrait instead of his own features, so that as the portrait grows uglier and older, he always looks as innocent and beautiful as ever.
The portrait in the back of this piece is supposed to represent the inner Light, or Kira, and how he fooled everyone by maintaining such a calm, composed aura when really, inside, he was a power-maddened killer.
I really like the portrait part, but I know Light himself needs some work... he doesn't quite look like himself (why do all my anime people always look like children??), and I'm really really bad at drawing suits. >.<
Like I said, I know it needs some more work, but I'm tired of working on it and I just want to post it before I begin to hate it.
