This piece is for the breast cancer awareness contest. I found an old picture form the 70's of a woman who had one breast removed due to breast cancer, she had her head thrown back and the light hit her and she still looked beautiful and happy. It was kind of like she was saying "I'm still here." with utter joy and releif. I wanted to do something like that so I took the concept and turned it into the anime style. This was done with hand drawn outlines and then colored digitally in photoshop.
