My contest entry for the Breast Cancer Awareness Competition (which I will lose, hardcore, but whatever.) I don't normally enter art contests, but it's for a good cause and the prizes, well they rock. The girl's hair is supposed to look like the awareness ribbons, I drew butterflies because they are very feminine and can mean many things. Pink is the overall color for obvious reasons. I added "positive" words and did an overall lighthearted piece because I didn't want to do a "depressing" piece. Yes, breast cancer is a horrible disease but if caught early is not the death sentence that it was. Instead of a sad message, I wanted to give one of strenght and hope, and give someone a smile. I hope I managed to do that :)
