It has been a long standing tradition to tie a yellow ribbon around a tree for those who have gone away to war to let them know that when and if they return, they are still loved and haven't been forgotten. I think that to support the cause, pink ribbons should be tied for the loved ones who have fought the hard fight against breast cancer.
