Phew! I made it in a week! 2 days of ideas, 3 days of sleepless work and a couple extra days trying to find a stupid scanner that worked at least a little good! ^^
I hate impulsiveness... But if I had decided to start sooner then ten days before the submissions end I would have colored it on the computer instead of durring school ^^'
Basicly the 3 ribbons symbolize joining together and the ribbon to the right of the girl is her own ribbon showing she joined the growing group of survivors and honoring the ones lost durring the climb upwards toward freedom and in this case the beautiful sunrise. The cracked cliff at the top of the mountian symbolizes the chance of getting it again and the emotional problems of passing it onto the ones you love. After all nothing is more hard to accept then finaly making it to the top and finding out that your daughter got Breast Cancer as well.
I know its not as good as the others due to short lack of time ^_^' But its worth it in the end, going to the cause of helping others in the future.
Hope you like it tho! I might make a better one and submit it later not for the contest but to show others what it really would have looked like if I didn't decide to start at the last minute ^_^' Definetly going to keep that in mind for the next contest!
