I sketched the lineart for this picture during Ap. Bio class and I decided to try my hand at coloring it. If you look closely, you may be able to make out the word "HOPE" spelled out on the wing. My theme for this piece was the hope that comes with the possibility of finding a cure for breast cancer; this hope will continue to glow as long as there are women who still suffer its affects. I also marvel at the many strong women who manage to hold on to hope as they fight the disease.
