This piece is dedicated to my gran who passed away from both breast cancer lung and cancer level IV two months ago. Woman and men alike have and are affected by breast cancer. Pink in this entire entry of course, resembles hope. I didn�t realize that this piece was going to get so elaborate and become its own story. The woman is saying �Hope?� and the man replies simply �Hope�. Both shed tears for the hope of survival. The thing above the man�s head in the clock of fate, and his time is running short, but the strength of his hope is caught in the clock of time, slowing down the hand. The 8:67 is the time I heard my gran had passed away, but the numbers were placed over the people for censorship ;). The man has a butterfly wing because the Irish believe that butterflies are the souls of the dead waiting to pass through purgatory. The eye of fate is watching the girl, but there is no need to see a clock that is no where near its ending. The girl also has inactive �dead� angle wings, because she won�t need to use them for a very long time. The Man will be one of the many deceased from breast cancer, but the girl will be one of the many survivors. All HAND DRAWN.... I�m the slow at art, I don�t even wanna think how long this toke me.
