WARNING: RD's VERSION AIN'T SO SHORT. "Hope is never wasted" [minus the "d" after i got a little crazy w/ the ink...] uhm, i don't feel like doing a big description, so here's the Reader's Digest version; once upon a time, there was a world filled w/ some brilliant people who lacked common sence and any sort of memory of the past century. Those brilliant people came together to form a brilliant thing called the UN. And in that brilliant thing of a group, they made brilliant decisions. One of those happened to be Project "Hope" in a brlliant last-ditch effort to make themselves a more brilliant image to show to the world. They would unify the countries w/in the UN by creating a place for all of the best of the best scientists, thinkers, creators, and dreamers to work and live w/ thier families, along w/ students and shadows of the greats as well as thier familes. And what better way to show off technilogical power than to put them all on thier very own man-made island? huge advances in industry, scientific knowledge, and revolutionary ideas. a perfect idea to those brillant people of litte sense. and of coarse, as history has always happened- over and over and over again- this Utopia of sorts failed horribly but a couple decades later. the scientists began doing strange and cruel experiments, not only on animals, but on civilians as well. News got out, the UN did nothing, the world was outraged, the scientists continued. The people of Hope feared, they wanted to leave- but the people that had been set in charge of Hope by the UN said it would cause economic damage to many countries involed if the project was shut down, and none of the countries wanted that, so the UN made sure ppl stayed where they were. a few years passed, the results of the experiments began to merge w/ society. they were called "un-naturals". Rejected, neglected, and very alone- they turned to crime to get what they needed. population started getting out of controll. ppl still wanted to leave, the leaders guys said no. revolt. revolution. ppl tryied to leave. blockade. everything sucks. new leader, like birds for some reason. black ones. enter stage right, hell. enter stage left, heaven. in the middle, poor little ryu. 3 guesses on what's gonna happen.
