*sighs* A piece born mainly from the "I cant sleep so I'll draw" mood I find myself in alot at the moment. Anyway in more detail you can read the whole story of the inspiration for this on my most recent myotaku post. The actual set up of the drawing... now that came about in a slightly bizare fasion, sitting up at 3 am I was listening to some classical music (yes 20 year old can listen to classic FM too :P) and as one piece played I got an image in my head of that cheesy soap opera, drama etc. classic scene of the widow, old man, bereved husband, whomever it might be, thumbing through old pictures... and that gave me the idea to draw it thusly. Also for those of you watching carefully I wonder if you notice somthing... I spent a while trying to dirty up the picture, give it an aged look or similar, and also to make the edges of the paper and photos look worn and torn, yet on the bound paper in the corner there are 3 words which arnt faded,"the unfinished story"... thats intentional because there is a message there that came to me while drawing this. Regardless of what happens, what life throws your way, your story simply doesnt end, if you are still here, still standing, still breathing... you can pick up that pen and write a new chapter, it never ends, only begins again... forever the unfinished story...
