Though originally crafted based on the wakizashi (a samurai's smaller sword), various additions and alterations to the blade make it a sword of its own. It was actually not Raven's until more recently in his developement, as it was created by the Oracle of War as a side arm. Nedaka's crafting was ment to make a brutal and powerful weapon, caring little for it's humaneness. The weapon is a bloodsword, therefore Raven rarely carries it unless his mind is clear, or else he risks going beserk. He now uses it as a sister-sword to Nedian, as both were forged in the same manner.
