This is my entry for Aki Yamashima's contest. It's Shirion and Yume my favorite characters of G2! The concept of this piece is Shirion and Yume taking a candid photo(sort of). Shirion is being all extroverted and goofy making Yume smile in a sincere and friendly way. This WAS NOT intended on looking like yuri at all. I love yuri and all but alot of people are offended by it so I'd rather not submit something like that in a contest. Besides do you NOT see the chibi pic on the bottom that says "Best Friends" not "Loving Partners". :P I WOULD however if there was a yuri on theOtaku. I rpobably wouldnt win but Id certainly have fun drawing it. Just like in this contest here. I just love to draw. ^^ As for my requests Ive finished Ice Knight's and JD person's requests.(even though Ice Knight didnt comment on his. LOL. *twitch*) I still feel acomplished in doing both. I also have to get started on Ani Mae's request too(hers was any character from Eureka 7). Which Ill have done in a couple days(at the rate Im going at at least). *yawns* So tired right now though...... On a diffrent note though I was severely disapppointed in this piece when I had finished it now that feeling is gone! Weird! ^^ Though I did overdo it on the shading while experimenting and I totally screwed the sketch aand lineart while inking it(as you can tell there are alot of mistakes). My hands are NOT that stable I guess and I am a bit of a cluts sometimes. I bid the others who have entered contest good luck! Not only in hopes of egtting good karma but in wishing my fellow Otaku happiness. Well at least I was honest and sincere. lol. Enjoy. Comments? Votes? Faves? Requests? Paint Time spent: 20-30 minutes(sketching) 15 minutes (inking) 45 minutes(coloring) 20 minutes(editting) P.S. I did this REALLY late at night. So thats probably the reason for all the errors.
