Our local anime store is holding a contest in which people draw a character that will become the mascot of their store. We were allowed to submit as many as 4 characters...I only had time for 2...barely enough time for that even. Bleh. I almost didn't complete this one due to lack of time but I worked my tail off to do it. The other mascot I did can be found right before this one in my portfolio. Anywho, this is the 2nd character I did and originally, this was going to be a tiger! I drew the eyes, nose, mouth and then got to the ears and was doing them when I think to myself, 'Heck, this looks like a fox...durn-tootin' why not do a fox?!' So, I finished it as a fox rather then a tiger and I like it better then what I originally had planned...especially because I love foxes...we have a lot of red and gray foxes where I live and they're ever-so cute.:D I'll let everyone know if one of my characters is chosen to become the mascot.^_^ Medium: Outlined in Bic pen Prismacolor colored pencils Prismacolor colorless blender All done on smooth Matte paper.
