I drew Arietta on July 28th and Sync and Ion on the 31st. It's kinda ironic if you think of it. Those of you who know who Sync is (laughs). Well the picture as a whole looks okay. My first intention was to have Arietta whispering Ion's name while Sync listened in the background. But the right side seemed too bare, so I was thinking since Ion's name was already there, might as well draw him in that spot. To equal it out, I put Sync's name on his side. Arietta took more than twice the time to draw alone than it did to make Ion and Sync. She's in her white costume, holding her doll. Her head looks way too large. I tried to make her expression seem as if she can't decide between Ion and Sync. Or she's apologizing to the memory of them. You choose whatever pairing you prefer it to be. Now, Ion's arm is too short. I wanted him to look happy, but sad at the same time, but I couldn't establish it enough. Of course, I could have adjusted his eyelid, but chose not to. Um, you can consider Sync either 'grr'ing or giving a sinister smile. I partially made up the mask design because I couldn't remember what it looked like.
