This is sort of part of a discussion me and some others were having at the Naruto Forums about how people bash Sasuke for wanting revenge but they praise Shikamaru for wanting revenge. It's stupid and unfair and I don't get the fans' logic. Sasuke has always been angsty and he's either loved or hated. Shikamaru's basically a fun, laid-back guy (in part 1) and then suddenly, his sensei is killed and he becomes all badass. Some fans liked this and surprisingly wanted him to take revenge, even if they hated Sasuke for his revenge-obsession. Others (like me) despised this new development of his character. What makes Sasuke revenge-seeking different from Shikamaru's? Both lost people they loved and yet Sasuke is hated for it and Shikamaru is, like I said, praised. It just doesn't make sense. A lot of people I saw kept saying that Hidan was more dangerous than Itachi so he deserved to die. Uh...excuse me? You're joking right? As much as I love Hidan, he's no where near Itachi's abilities. My point is, that people should stop being hypocrites. So...I could go on and on about this, but I already have at the forum XD
