Sano is my favorite RK character. (It'll show once I upload all my Sano pics...) Anyway, this pic was drawn from the aftermath of the battle between good and evil--Shishio and the Juppongatana vs. Kenshin, Sano, Saito, and Aoshi--one of the best anime battles, in my humble opinion.
