Alrighty, this picture is based on a fan fiction thats in the works right now. What happens is, Ichigo and the gang come back from Hueco Mundo, having defeated Aizen and the Arrancar (DONT TAKE THIS AS A SPOILER, CUZ I DONT KNOW IF THIS REALLY HAPPENS!) The Soul Society decides that they need to take punishment against Ichigo for clearly disobeying Soul Society law (by going to Hueco Mundo when told not to), but they dont want to be too harsh, because he did in fact rid the Arrancar. So they erase Ichigo's memories of ever being a Shinigami and strip him of his license. (Seems pretty harsh for a light punishment, eh? Thats how the Society rolls) Head Captain Yamamoto says its best, because they are no longer in need of his services, and no human should be a shinigami in the first place. Also he is a potential threat, being so rebellious and defiant. Rukia is still in charge with Karakura town, but she is forbidden from even talking to the ex substitute shinigami. Contact with him will be punishable by the laws of the Society. They also tell her its for the best, because now he can lead a normal teenage life. So alot of the story is Rukia's struggle of wether to leave Ichigo as a normal human, or re-awaken his shinigami self, and Ichigo unexplained flashbacks to something that he never knew happened.
