I feel that winter is an extremely dynamic season... it's a season of happiness and joy, sadness and loss, and everything in between. In case you can't make out what my picture is supposed to be depicting (due to my lack of artistic ability and noobness at photoshop xP) it's a crisp winter's evening and my character is sitting atop a snow-powdered hill looking off into the distance (more specifically at the footsteps that lead into the forest). Perhaps he's lost the companionship of a best friend or maybe a girlfriend (I'll leave that up to your interpretation =P) but either way he feels that he can find comfort in the solitude of nature during a season that mirrors the angst that he feels inside. So that was my inspiration behind this piece and hopefully some part of that came through! But even if it didn't, I'd like to thank you kindly for taking the time to view my submission!
