Syrith on his own death bed wishes for Axelia to be by his side...He's dying because half his body is missing :)STORY TIEM
Syrith laid low watching as a battle raged on for his own freedom. Axelia changed in form had been dragged in. An enemy in front and an enemy behind. She was surrounded. What was he to do?Sit and stay safe or risk it all for her.Bang a blow from the front. She was wounded, judging by the blood loss, badly. Before the man in the back could strike Syrith ran in the way. The blow struck his lower abdomen. He hunched over in pain."Ah Syrith, I was wondering when you would join this lovely battle of ours."The elder grinned. Syrith placed his palms on the ground, gasping for air. Axelia, now on the ground slowly return to her normal, frail form. Damaskenos retreated from his fight to help her."Are you alright?"He asked her."Fine, get Syrith, don't worry about me." she grunted. Damaskenos slowly put her into a sitting position and tried making his way to Syrith. A blast of energy fired at him, pushing him back. Two tall slender men, the elder's guards no doubt, grabbed Syrith by the arms."Let me down!"Syrith yelled."What can you do against them Syrith? Or do you not remember your slowly aging away now that your immortality and powers are gone?" The elder laughed.Syrith grunted painfully as the guards dragged him to a river. Axelia looked over to the river. She remembered that was the river Syrith pulled her out of, the river that tasted of blood and singed her flesh."No!"Axelia screamed. She tried helplessly to get up and get Syrith."I see you to want his fate!"The elder growled."NO! This is what I chose for myself. Do whatever you need to me nobody else is responsible for this."Syrith demanded."Ah,That is a good choice for her and your friends isn't it?" The elder laughed. The guards rose him above the river and slowly eased him in. Syrith screamed, it was almost blood curtailing(Spell checker?). They stopped putting him in before his chest. Axelia got up,but was held back by Lithia."Let me go! You love him to don't you?! So why aren't you trying to help?"Axelia cried."Because theres nothing we can do for him anymore."Lithia lowered her head. The guards pulled Syrith up and threw him to the shore line.Axelia could barely see the damage, but Lithia and Damaskenos knew exactly what happened. "Retreat now."The eldery said, disappearing in a black shroud of mist. The guards and other ranks quickly did the same. Damaskenos picked himself up and walked over to Syrith. Lithia still kept a grip on Axelia. Syrith's hand slowly raised a bit and pointed towards Axelia. Damaskenos lowered his head in pain and shook up and down. Lithia put a hand over Axelia's eyes."What?"Axelia asked."You'll see in a minute."Lithia heaved in pain. Damaskenos picked Syrith up and placed him against a rock by the river. He walked over towards the two girls and signaled Lithia to let go."Where's Syrith?"She asked." H- he wants to talk.To you. He's back over there."Damaskenos said pointing over towards the rocks he propped Syrith up on. Axelia ran almost joyfully to over to him. She skid and fell in a pool of blood. Looking up from it she was horrified. Syrith laid against the rock, the pool of blood was from him. Over half his body missing, organs seemed to be hanging out. She screamed in sorrow and in freight. The man she loved was now slowly dieing in front of her with nothing left but his head, upper torso, and arms. She scurried over to his side, he looked away from her."Syrith, this isn't real right? This is just another one of those dreams you implanted in my head, right!"She cried."No, It's not." He said in a low tone."Your lying!" She screamed."Axelia stop it!"He raised his voice."No you are lying!" She screamed again."SHUT UP!"He yelled. Her eyes widened and she clenched her mouth shut. Tears streamed from her eyes as she looked down at him."I'm sorry."He lowered his voice back down."What. What did you want to say?" She asked." You l-look really stupid in that hoodie." He smiled. She cried even more putting her arms around him."I'm sorry for everything. I mean everything.I shouldn't have done a lot of the things I did." He said, each word became quieter then the next."Syrith don't die." She sobbed."Can't promise you that." He said in a whisper as he closed his eyes. Her crying became louder and his breathing was no more. Damaskenos and Lithia slowly made their way over. Lithia put a hand on Axelia's shoulders. She spun around, tears still flowing. Lithia grabbed her and pulled her close, knowing what the pain felt like. Damaskenos stood over his once alive friend, crying."Nothing we can do know except give him a proper resting place."Damaskenos said.
