He was awakened 2 years ago by Shin Natsume, Mana Kuzunoha and Hiroki Naga. Originally, he was born in America in 1785 (many years before Saya and Diva [Blood+] were born) to a Japanese woman named Kokono Kamina (an Chiropteran female) and an American explorer named Reeve LeGardenia II who later married after his birth. His green eyes and red hair are his most noticable traits. He lives in a house in Kyoto, Japan on a hill that overlooks a temple. He works many different jobs to get money but his current job is a cage fighter in Tokyo. He uses his superhuman abilities, self- taught martial arts, claws, and swords he created to fight.
