Portrait of one of the greatest protagonists in Anime history. It's Susumu Kodai from one of the greatest and most-beloved Sci-Fi Anime multiseries ever made so far, "Space Battleship Yamato", (partly known for its North American Edited Version, "Star Blazers", where Kodai is called "Derek Wildstar"). Despite being established in the 1970s, "Space Battleship Yamato" is still an anime multiseries worth watching and appreciating.

This drawing was done from perspective of an image I saw in this month's issue of "Otaku USA". I used M and S PITT Type artists pens to outline the portrait while I used Fibre-tip pens and the 2nd drakest of the B PITT type artist pen to color. Forgive me if Kodai's brown hair color shown here is dark, for I intended to base this work on how the character appeared in all installments of the "Space Battleship Yamato" franchise after its first T.V. series installment.
