this is the mermaid i drew awhile back. she's splashing through the surface. i know u guys weren't too fond of her the first time i drew her, but i still wanted to draw her again. (feel free to tell me what u guys dont like about her. im open to criticism.) i referenced this from a picture of ariel. i really liked the pose, so i decided to try it. and i really like the way the water is moving, even tho my scanner ate alot of the color out of it. T.T oh well. but comments/votes are appreciated. ^^ used: prisma colored pencils and smooth art paper.
