Mamoru Kodai's (Alex Wildstar's) spaceship Yukikaze (EDF Missile Ship 17), which is classified as an M-21881 Type Space Assault Destroyer (alias: Lightning-Class Space Torpedo Destroyer, EDF Torpedo Destroyer). It appears in the 1st "Space Battleship Yamato" T.V. series (known in North America as "Star Blazers: The Quest for Iscandar"). In the anime's North American version, the ship's called "Paladin".
