This is my sea dragon - it's a book mark design for a fund raiser that my class is doing. Everyone else doing beaded string book marks, and I thought I'd do something different.

It took me roughly an hour to make this with all the going back and fidgetting with the colors, but I think it was worth it. The color scheme is based off tropical fish and actual "sea dragons," which really do have the leafy thingies.

Penciled first, inked, detailed in ink, and then colored with my prismas. The scales took me a whole 20 minutes - this thing is only about 2.5x7 inches.
