it's about time i got this dude up here, yo! buckethead kid along with vegetable boy have both been hijacking my papers as of late. kids, you know? they just want all the spotlight they can get.

anyway, buckethead kid's real name is jerrod, and he is the son of dave and wendy harris. no one but his family, vegetable boy, and other aspiring superhero friends know his secret identity of BUCKETHEAD KID. no, not even his classmates. he takes off his bucket and hangs up his cape only to go to school. at home, they're back on except for suppertime, because there is no plastic tupperware placed on one's head at the dinner table. and the cape is just plain unsanitary.

jerrod's costume is very easy to make you know. he swiped the bucket from the cleaning closet along with the mop, and inconspicuously took the spatula from a drawer in the kitchen. i don't know why he wanted the spatula, because it constantly knocks him over when he gets it caught on something. buckethead kid has his reasons, though. his shirt was one of his good white linens that he drew on with a red marker (mrs. harris sobs at this). then he has just regular khaki cargo pants and some classically red converse. he never has both shoes tied at the same time except for church. but even then, he has to wear nice shoes. his cape is one of his own towels that miraculously matched the hem of his shirt. for dire situations, he straps on cups, 2 washboards, and wraps himself in toilet paper and/or bubble wrap.

buckethead kid is, no duh, an aspiring superhero. his favourite superhero is superman, because there is no better hero than superman. NO, BATMAN IS NOT COOLER, AND SPIDERMAN IS JUST SOME STUPID COLLEGE STUDENT. anyway, you can't blame him for wanting to be a superhero; he's 9. cut him some slack! he uses a wet mop for a weapon, for pete's sake. when i was little, i wanted to be a superhero, so i used mud on a stick as my weapon. WE'RE A CONSERVATIVE PEOPLE.

i'm thinking of making a weekly comic strip/picture of buckethead kid and vegetable boy's misadventures. maybe. or maybe i'll hold a contest later on to add a new kid to their adventure group! that'd be much much later though, because i need time to get you guys used to these guys.
