Here is an older painting/portrait I did of Rukia Kuchiki (Bleach). It was an early attempt at semi-realism. I realize there are problems with her left I that I never got around to fixing, but I'm satisfied enough with the piece that I didn't want to mess with it anymore (sometimes you can make things worse by trying to improve them!)

The concept is that she's returned to the place of her captivity during the Soul Society story arc where Ichigo and the rest go to save her from execution.

I guess she's gone back so she can let it go. Although, I'm assuming she already has, since she seems alot more upbeat and optimistic in recent story arcs.
